Healthy Easy Recipe Hacks

September 28, 2026•1 min read

It's much easier to reduce ultra-processed foods such as bread and breakfast cereals if you have something nice already pre-prepared in the fridge. Here are some food prep ideas you can adjust to your own taste.

The first one is what I call my Daily Foundation. This was the game-changer for me - I have eaten it almost every day since I discovered it. It is a mix of kefir, oats or oat bran, ground linseeds and chia seeds with a variety of extras. It gives me a big head start on achieving my protein and fibre goals, and I can mix a big bowlful that will last several days. I can also take it with me as a packed lunch - to remove the temptation of buying fast food.
